Let’s Play The Silver Case: Part 3 “Fortune Telling Teeth!”

As I play the next chapter, I notice how this is based on the demo that was released a while ago, though ironically I would talk about it in the video and get most of the plot wrong! Silly me!

However, be the witness of fortune telling teeth!

Let’s Play The Silver Case: Part 2 “I can’t door!”

So yeah, I skipped out on a recording because I’m dumb! Not only did I forget that my audio levels, but I spent 10 minutes trying to work out how to open a damn door in this game! I’ll make you skip that madness and make another video where I make progress instead! Not to mention that I finish the prelude chapter. Not quite like demo that I played, but it’s pretty damn interesting! Is our killer spreading a “Murder Virus”?

Who Knows?

Great Bit Let’s Play: Let’s Play The Silver Case Part 1!

Being the Suda51 that I am, I’ve always had a curiosity about the first game that Grasshopper Manufacture made back in 1999 on the PlayStation. What’s awesome is that this game has never been localised before, and now it’s happened, so the Suda51 fan boy in me can jump in joy to finally play this visual novel in English!

DISCLAIMER:- Yes I suck with the audio levels in this video because I set the game audio to be twice as loud rather than the mic. I am sorry! Fortunately you can read what I’m reading on screen. so it’s not all that bad… kinda…

I want to play this game: Rising Zan, The Samurai Gunman

Rising_Zan_Pal

Mr Random Dave showed me this crazy overlooked PlayStation action game called, Rising Zan The Samurai Gunman; and my word, I seriously need to try this game out!

After finding the intro of the game on YouTube, I really wanted to play this game so much! A Wild-west gunman who travels to Japan to become a Samurai and returns to save his town is a great plot, but what makes this better is how silly, over the top and how it never takes itself seriously, ever! GreatBitVlog 13: They’re selling N64 Jumper Paks?

YouWot

Time for some catch up, seeing as I appear to still be bad at organising this blog! In Today’s Vlog I talk about something weird I noticed today when I found a charity shop selling an N64 Jumper Pak. The thing you use in order to boot up the console, you only ever remove it if you’re installing an Expansion Pak into your system. But after a bit of talking to people on Twitter it turns out that some retailers where known to remove jumper paks out of pre-owned N64 systems!

Not only that, I talk a bit about the announced Zelda Netflix TV show, Persona 5, and an awesome modded PS1 with a model of Final Fantasy VII’s Midgar on the top of it! Continue reading

GreatBitVlog 11: Pickups

loads

Today I got myself a whole handful of games, ranging from new to used at a pretty good price!

It was a good bargain find if I do say so myself! the whole lot came to about £40. Granted it wasn’t an awesome carboot sale moment. But when the mornings are dark, making carboot sales suck, it’s nice to get bargains from website and charity shops!

Did you find any bargains recently? Did you get anything from the GamesCollection’s January sale? Do you know any charity shops with awesome games in them? Tell me in the comments below!

My first experience with the PlayStation.

ps1

So it’s the 20th Anniversary of the PlayStation, or as most people would now call it, the PS1. Maybe I should write a blog about the first experience I had with the system.

Front of school

In 1995, I went to a fete at the Mayfield Primary School. I can’t remember the reason why, it wasn’t the school that I was attending, that and I was about to go to Secondary School after the Summer break. Three things went down at this fete, I won about £10 at a putting game they had, I tried the internet out for the first time on an Acorn computer using a huge track ball, and I tried out a PlayStation. I don’t have any photos of this event, or me playing said system, so I’m just going to have to write down everything that I remember. Continue reading

Happy Birthday PlayStation

PlayStation(1)

I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of Sony, nor am I huge fan of the PlayStation. But I will admit the fact that the PlayStation had a pretty impressive library of games for it. Since the release PlayStation 4, I’ve seen a lot of vinyl sticker packs to dress up your PS4 to make it look like an Atari 2600 or an NES; but I thought to myself “Why hasn’t they made a PS1 skin for the PS4 yet?” Well, the 20th anniversary of the PlayStation comes along, and now there’s a super limited edition version of the PS4 console donning the classic grey colour… Continue reading

Great day at the car boot sale!

Carboot (1)

So yeah, I had some fun today at the local car boot sale!

The crazy thing was that I almost didn’t go because I felt really rough thing morning, I’m not a morning person, let’s put it like that. It started off kinda bland, there just wasn’t really anything there on my first round around the car boot sale. But when I did my second round, it was as there was a tsunami of deals heading towards me!!! Continue reading

The wonder of Vib Ribbon

As I said in a previous thread, the way I got into Sony PlayStation after my decade long Nintendo fan boy-ism was through Dance Dance Revolution. But that wasn’t the only thing that kept me playing the PlayStation. It was mainly the Rhythm game genre that got me into the PS1. As much as I wanted to stay faithful to the Big N, Nintendo didn’t have any rhythm games, yet. Even though I got into DDR first, I would eventually work my way through playing other rhythm games such as Beat Mania and the NaNaOnSha games. NaNaOnSha were the guys behind Parappa the Rapper, the first big hit in the Rhythm genre. Then came a sequel called Um Jammer Lammy. Then came an obscure game that didn’t get a release in the US, Vib Ribbon… Continue reading
