Let’s Play The Silver Case: Part 3 “Fortune Telling Teeth!”

As I play the next chapter, I notice how this is based on the demo that was released a while ago, though ironically I would talk about it in the video and get most of the plot wrong! Silly me!

However, be the witness of fortune telling teeth!

Let’s Play The Silver Case: Part 2 “I can’t door!”

So yeah, I skipped out on a recording because I’m dumb! Not only did I forget that my audio levels, but I spent 10 minutes trying to work out how to open a damn door in this game! I’ll make you skip that madness and make another video where I make progress instead! Not to mention that I finish the prelude chapter. Not quite like demo that I played, but it’s pretty damn interesting! Is our killer spreading a “Murder Virus”?

Who Knows?

Great Bit Let’s Play: Let’s Play The Silver Case Part 1!

Being the Suda51 that I am, I’ve always had a curiosity about the first game that Grasshopper Manufacture made back in 1999 on the PlayStation. What’s awesome is that this game has never been localised before, and now it’s happened, so the Suda51 fan boy in me can jump in joy to finally play this visual novel in English!

DISCLAIMER:- Yes I suck with the audio levels in this video because I set the game audio to be twice as loud rather than the mic. I am sorry! Fortunately you can read what I’m reading on screen. so it’s not all that bad… kinda…

The return of ToeJam & Earl!

ToeJam&EarlCover

Here’s a Kickstarter that I might support, it’s the new ToeJam & Earl game made Greg Johnson who now works at a new game studio called, Humanature Studios. Sick of the fact that a, real, sequel to the original ToeJam & Earl MegaDrive/Genesis game never came out due to publishers pushing them to change the game, Greg Johnson and Humanature Studios are now working to make a new game for the PC without the pressure for publishers telling them how to make the game; and they’re doing this by getting funding from the fans over on Kickstarter.

The game in it’s early stages look great! It looks like they took some ideas from HotHead’s DeathSpank series. It uses simplistic models and backdrops, in this case two dimensional characters, on top of a three dimensional environment that’s randomly generated, just like the original game!

By the way, Greg Johnson is doing a REALLY bad Scottish accent in this video for the random…

Grand Theft Auto 5 PC version screen shots, release date and specs.

PC Gamer today showed off some gorgeous pictures of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5. It makes me fairly happy that I didn’t go and get console editions. Though to be brutally I have only got into sand box style games like this a few years ago, and I haven’t finished any of the GTA games yet.

Maybe I’ll get into it more with the PC version of it! Continue reading

Presentable Liberty: A third person review

PresentableLiberty

A third person review you say? How would that work? Well, with this thing called the internet and Youtube, a new wave of people are talking about and playing games that have been recorded and posted online. You should know people such as Pewdiepie, Press Heart to Continue, JonTronKSIOlajidebt, JackSepticEye, LazyGameReviews and many others, one of these Youtubers who I really enjoy is Markiplier. Yesterday he released a video that’s absolutely worth watching; he plays a game called Presentable Liberty; it’s one of those narrative driven games such as the Stanley Parable, Dear Esther and the Portal games. However the amazing thing about this game is that it barely gives you any real control over it, and becomes a lot more of an interactive story, where you’re a prisoner who receives a lot of letters from a group of people caught in a horrible epidemic, and you’re one of a very few who isn’t infected.

Here’s the Youtube video, it’s an hour, but worth watching every bit of it. Otherwise you can play the game by downloading it from here.

Perfect Red Update: 17/Dec/2013

perfectred-v3

New version time, again!

New Features

  • Explosions! “Red” Explosions…
  • “Miss” indicators appear when you miss a shot or let an enemy go past you.
  • Big enemies now die “definitely” after 3 shots. No more dodgy 2-4 shots to kill big enemies!
  •  Mouse control support*. It’s a bit “crappy” as shooting with left click isn’t as responsive as a keyboard key or joystick button.

*It’s not shown on screen, but to use Mouse control press the M key to use mouse control. The movement is better, but the shooting isn’t…

I made a game!

perfectred

Sorry for not posting as much as I should, the good old mix of being mega busy at work, and procrastinating when I’m not working. However Humble Bundle had a Weekly Bundle where Multimedia Fusion was included with a set of games. For those who don’t know what Multimedia Fusion is, it’s an evolution of a piece of software called Klik and Play, a game maker release in 1994 for Windows 3.1 and Mac, a game maker that I understood. Other game makers such as DarkBASIC, YoYo Game Maker (that was free for a limited time) and many others I simply couldn’t get to grasp, but the experience I had on Klik and Play on my old Mac where I made a set of basic games on it, I had to snatch this up, not because it’s basically an Updated version of Klik and Play, but I had an idea for a shooting game!
