Late last night, Valve announced the Steam Link Micro console. A tiny little machine similar to that of the PlayStation TV where you can stream your Steam games from your PC to a bigger TV over your home network.

Come on Sony, bring the PSTV Value pack over here!

I’ll admit it. I kinda want a Playstation TV. Games such as TXK, Freedom Wars and a bunch of great looking indie games the system is fairly attractive to me. However my gripe with the system is simply that once you buy the system, you still have to buy one of those damn Vita memory cards!

Now granted, the PlayStation TV does feature a one gigabyte internal memory to it; which the PlayStation Vita didn’t. But it bugs me to no end that if I get myself a PSTV, I would have to fork out a lot of money on these Vita memory cards, otherwise I’m stuck with a teeny tiny 1GB of memory!

Well this is certainly interesting… I thought this was a joke, kinda like how Nintendo announced the 2DS, which I still need to blog about. But as I’m typing this as it appear on Kotaku, let me say that the last few weeks have been totally barmy in the console industry as Sony and Microsoft release their next generation consoles! Get your straight jackets and enter a world of insanity that makes total sense!?

My weekend with the Ouya…

So I got myself an Ouya, and over the weekend I’ve been playing a lot of this machine. Some good stuff, some bad stuff.  But what do I think about this £99 console? Well… Why do we have to pay more for this! In the states it costs $99, but $99 is not £99, it’s £65!
