After much anticipation for the reveal of Nintendo’s next console, the Code-name: NX. Nintendo has announced this morning that the NX, or what is the NX, will be shown off today at 15:00 GMT. Continue reading
After a few teasers that Rockstar put out on Facebook and Twitter, fans got excited for a possible new Red Dead game, and it turned out to be true! Rockstar announced Red Dead Redemption 2 today, with a trailer coming out this Thursday.
What’s been said is that the game isn’t a sequel, but a prequel (Why call it Redemption 2 then?) The game will come out on the PS4 and XBox One in 2017, however a few gaming news sites such as IGN have speculated that there might be a chance to play this game on the PC and base their opinion based on the fact that Grand Theft Auto 5 eventually made it onto the PC a year after it’s console launch. Still doesn’t mean anything due to the fact that Redemption still hasn’t got a PC port yet! Rockstar also mentioned that Redemption 2 will come with an online mode named, Red Dead Online. Yup, I had to cheat again. It turns out that the only way to see the manager of the apartment is to find out that the shutters to the parking lot are locked; you do this by walking into it. Then you can talk to the manager on the ground floor where you can get the keys and we can find Koichi.
Despite the silly Columbo reference in this, Morikawa later on discovers Chizuru off duty, and a little bit of loving embrace happens in an alley… Maybe they were lovers after all huh?
So I become a member of the Heinous Crime Unit in this game. Now I’m a real private dick! And somehow I’m thrown into solving this so-called suicide case on my own. But I get caught up trying to help out a kid find his, ribbit-ing, friend. Issue is, I return the next day and now I have to work out a code written on a piece of paper, and I can’t quite figure it out…
Will I work this out in the next episode!
Here’s an interesting one; a brand new shmup for the Atari 2600! This is Boss, and it’s being made by Twin Galaxies high scorer Dave Vogt. He’s running an IndieGoGo campaign where, if the campaign succeeds, you can get this game on an actual Atari 2600 cart, and a mobile edition of the game. Continue reading
Pressing on to the main story this time, we hear a story about a boy and his friend Hikaru, who apparently sounds like a frog. I had to question why this was the case when the next sentence explains it…
Anyway, what looks like a suicide takes place, and I’m on the job with Hachisuka at the Typhoon Apartments, the same place where Tokio lives. However I received an email by, Bat (I’m the god-damn Batman…), telling me that Tokio is dangerous, even though I saved him from Kamui and Ayame at the Babylon shopping mall.
What happened with this suicide? And what’s with these kids? We’ll find out!
So we meet that weird Enzawa guy again, the one who said that Kamui is the moon. Now he says that Ayame is the perfect women… Yeah… The perfect woman whom shot her lover’s other lady friends due to having kids with them!
Hey ho, this side story finally ends as we get the perspective of the Kamui case, or the Ayame case as it’s now called, from the eyes on Tokio. It’s made to look as if it’s just a set of murders done by the act of jealously. But could the murder virus be a real thing? Or am I just being told that just because of what was said at the beginning of the game?
Continuing on Tokio’s side story. He finds a man who knows something about the crazy serial killer, Kamui. But he discovers that this man is a bit nuts as he compares Kamui to the moon. So of course I had to add another Mighty Boosh Moon joke in there! lol!
As Tokio figures out what’s going on, he gets reminded that he was in a coma, and he begins to work out what happened. I honesty think we met Tokio before…
So we figured out that the murders were not done by Kamui, but rather by his ex-lover Ayame, who is jealous of Kamui having kids with other women. And therefore Kamui is a deadbeat Dad, and Ayame is one hell of a green eyed monster, to the point where she would kill herself!
So yes, I cheated! I had to look up an old Japanese video of someone playing the game and recording the TV screen; such low quality… lol!
But it turns out that I had to look up whilst standing on the shadow, because there’s a body about to fall on you! Argh! After that nastiness, the Heinous Crimes Department discover an art shop where Kamui used to go to, and it gets a little crazy and weird from here on out. Those kids though! So damn creepy!
